I thought it was obvious from the photos that “Deez Nuts” I was using are hurricane nuts.
The hurricane nuts do not have the on teeth back.
I do like to put one drop of power grab of the back of each one just before tightening it down.
For hurricane nuts, as I stated, and this is just my opinion, use your fingers to tighten down the bolt till the very end. Only the last couple turns with the screws driver to tighten down completely. This will prevent stripping or damaging the nut by trying to force it with a screw driver.

The previous owner had these mounted on the wall with brackets that left a few holes in the back of the cabinets. I filled the holes and sanded them down and applied a new sheet of black vinyl veneer. I think it looks almost the same as the original. Either way I covered the holes."Equality is a myth to protect the weak. Some of us are strong in the Force, others are not. Only a fool believes otherwise." - Sith Proverb. -

Finished the back of the other speaker and added gaskets to terminal plates"Equality is a myth to protect the weak. Some of us are strong in the Force, others are not. Only a fool believes otherwise." - Sith Proverb.
