    Awe, dang. RIP George.

Here, recently, I stumbled upon a good suggestion regarding one of his products. Using the GF grill as a device to cook bacon. At first, I was hesitant about doing this, but the videos showed just how easy it was to clean up....using a couple of wet paper towels with a set of rubber tipped prongs to wipe everything down on the grill surfaces while still hot.

Man, what a concept! Perfectly cooked bacon, reduced cooking time, VERY easy cleanup, all of the liquid gold was easily trapped in the drip collector, and there wasn't grease splatter all over the stove (or in this case, the countertop). I liked doing this so much, I am actually going to order a larger sized GF grill, so that I can cook an entire package of bacon in one shot, without cutting the strips in half to fit.

His legacy lives on, even off the ring. Thanks George!

He died following complications from a massive stroke he suffered.

We had three at one point. A large-ish one, a regular one, and a small one. The middle of the three we bought; the other two were dump finds. B)
We do still have the medium-sized one, although we haven't used it for a while. They are handy for some things.

The GF grill was a big part of the reason I lost 35lbs one winter several years ago. Every day a whole chicken breast cooked on his grill with a pile of stir fry veggies for supper. I did that right after my stairmaster workout and never once got tired of that meal all winter. I really need to get on that same routine again.
