Sorry to hear about that. :'(
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Just got the first Shingrix injection on Friday morning. Side effects were all over body aches without fever that resolved after around 36 hours but they didn't really start until 12 hours after the injection. Just took a dose of Tylenol and watched all 12 hours of Ken Burns' The American Revolution. Second Shingrix injection due within six months Get it!

I survived both Shingrix vaccinations. I waited way longer than the recommended for the second one and let my (fired) doctor at the time give me that and a tetanus at the same time. That wasn't a good combination.

Yeah, that 2nd Shingrix was a rough day after. Glad to have those behind me. My Dad still suffers with neuropathy pain from the breakout of shingles he had 15 years ago. I got that vaccine as soon as I was eligible.

Never got chicken pox, my siblings had it when we were young. My wife caught it for a second time and i still didn't get it. I know my dad got the shingles vax and he was so sick and in pain.

That probably means you had an extremely mild case as a baby. You probably would have contracted it otherwise. I had the same experience..no memory of having it from me or my parents... Doc told me to get the Shingrix anyway.

I know a few people that had the shingles and you do not want it. I just had a really sore arm after first shot and somewhat less sore arm after the second. My wife got hers after me and she had no complaints others than a mildly sore arm.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to get this done sooner rather than later.

You don't want Shingles, have had it many times.
The worse case was internal, they had me on morphin and dilotid.
I also get Gout... flip a coin as to which you'd rather have, both are close in pain.

I've had both shingles and gout. In my case gout is far more painful and debilitating. I had a 3 month gout flareup that was extremely agonizing. The worst pain I've felt, well only surpassed by the pain I felt when I passed a kidney stone. :#

Got shot #1 about 13 hours ago. So far, just a sore injection site as far as side effects. Thanks again for the PSA, @Emlyn and others.
