    Any Sinatra fans out there?
    I just read in Stereophile that Capitol is re-releasing
    'In the Wee Small Hours' with the alternate original masters.
    Apparently, Capital had run two tape decks for the recording.
    The Alt. was filed away with each track separate in case they
    wanted to do singles.

    I might pick it up just to have it. To be released November 14th.

    In the mean time;

    Interesting. I was looking for a good CD copy of that a couple months ago as part of the 1001 Albums you must hear before you die list. At that time, the consensus was all the CD copies are horrible and any old release vinyl was vastly better. So, I had my brother rip his vinyl copy for me, and it was pretty good. I might be tempted by the new CD release but I'll wait for Hoffman forum reviews.
