SDA1C

I have a pair of these in great shape I would like to find a good receiver that would allow me to set up a subwoofer so that I can play these speakers while I play my drums and people can hear the music. Any recommendations on a reasonably priced receiver or receivers that I should look at.?

These speakers are not meant to play with drums. Drums are like 120db, you will blow these up in no time
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I think he means that he will play drums with backing music, but it is a bit unclear what is intentions are. @Ocdrumbum , can you clarify?
Regardless, you might not need a subwoofer with those 1C if everything is working correctly and they are fed clean power. If you need a sub, any AV receiver in the last 20 years should have a subwoofer output and bass management settings.
Just find one with good power output for the 1C. If you don't need HDMI input/output, find an old Onkyo SR805. That has gobs of clean power (but bad HDMI boards). Bad HDMI won't affect sound from an analog or digital optical/coax input.
  • I meant backing music while I play. I have friends who want to watch me play but also want to hear the tunes I’m playing. I use cds and headphones for myself.
While I play. I currently have a Carver amp and pre-amp
