The Signature Elite Line

Hello everyone,
Curious about the Signature Elite line and where it sits over time. So the RT series is gone but was that line most of us found a home for many years. The LSI line came out and it was that next level we all craved. After that came the LSIM line which was a step forward in audio reproduction.

The Legend line came and basically went. Not to say it wasn't fantastic it was but it didn't seem to gain traction like most other lines. The Reserve line is a more affordable line but has some Legend Tech.

So the Signature Elite line is where in the chain? I like the styling and think they are priced well.

I have a pair of ES20's for HT duty, no sub. They are excellent. They don't really do anything wrong. I continue to be amazed how Polk can have 3 lines of speakers that can all hold their own, but keep getting better as you move up. That's not an easy thing to do. Considering the wide gap between the RTI series and LSi back in the day.

Some have said the original ES series were a bit wooly but I don't detect any of that in my (2nd Gen) ES20's As usual they punch above their price point, one of Polk's hallmarks, IMO.

They aren't as resolving or do they have the sound stage of an R200. But the gap is less than it should be.

I LOVE the rounded cabinets, IMO they look more modern than the R200's

They are solid performers for me. Perfect for what I need them for. Some day I might take them down in the office rig and do a comparo to the R200's.......except I kind of know what the outcome would be.

Awesome and thanks for the pics
I also think they look better than the Reserve line. The rounded cabinets are really nice for their price point. I also like that the ES15's have keyhole slots for wall mounting.

I have been wanting to get rid of floor standing speakers in my Office and I was and still are considering just getting a nice pair of in wall speakers but a nice pair of on wall would be nice as well.

They are very affordable and I would put a small sub in the room. I would run them with Bluesound.

I think the biggest issue is the R200's are discounted most places (as are the ES20's) the price gap is less than in the past. I think most places have the ES20's for $299/pr. I don't think you'll find a better sub $500 (retail) (new) for a bookie.

These are selling fast. I was on the site earlier in the week and everything Polk was available. I bought both my Marantz PM6007 integrated and ES20's from this site. Excellent transaction

P.S. they are refurbs that's why the great price. One year and zero issues and they both looked like new.
