RTA 12B or C in Oakland, CA/SF Bay Area

Options
Looking for a pair of B or C's locally. Cosmetics aren't important only that they are basically plug and play. Initial offer of $500 for B's and $700 for C's, but I'm willing to negotiate.

Thanks. The ad is from 4 years ago but I've sent a message so we'll see.

Sorry I couldn't see on my end that they were listed 4 years ago. These are from a 2 day old ad and are 5 minutes away from me, although that probably doesn't help you too much.

Check out this item on OfferUp. https://offerup.co/kxOK0dhq7Lb

Thanks. Sent them a message to see if they ship.

Unless you feel like taking a trip to the Bay Area. Weather is lovely right now. :)

I don't go up the coast as much as I used to. Now I have yet another reason to go to Vegas, as if I needed more.

I could store them if that would help you out. I've got several pairs of classic Polks in storage at the moment. Including 1.2Ttls as well as 2.3tl's and 3.1tl's, so one more pair is not gonna bother me none. Anyway that's up to you.

Thanks. Appreciate the offer but I definitely won't be getting down your way anytime soon. I already have a pair of original RTA 12's that I love, but have been itching to hear one of the later editions. Given how seemingly scarce they seem to be around these parts I consider myself lucky to have what I have. Hopefully the guy in Pasadena will ship.

That's just crazy thoughts. So you're spend $1000 or more yet not willing to drive? You don't really want them the way I see it. Shipping is waiting for disappointment to arrive.

Yup not driving 6 hours to get speakers. And I have my limits on shipping costs. But I've had dozens of speakers shipped over the years from all over the country with no issues. I just make certain the people packing know what they're doing, and if they don't I instruct them. Anyway, if it doesn't happen no biggie. Like I said I'm happy with my 12's and my 10 pairs of other speakers I have in my rotation.

Long story short finally scored a beautiful pair of completely restored 12C's from forum member @alexanikin . Couldn't be more thrilled.
