    I also wouldn't recommend shipping through one of the normal delivery options.

    Except for the smallest models they're typically delivered to dealers in groups on pallets then picked up by the purchaser or hand delivered. The dealer I got mine from personally drove more than three hours to my area with them and a couple other sets in a delivery van. This was during early Covid but if it hadn't been he would have set them up for me.

    They're a steal at the price here.

    UPS had my MG20's lying flat on the floor of the truck and the driver walked all over them for at least 6 hours before they got to me. The damage was repairable but significant.

    How far off the back wall do they need to be? Can you decrease rhe space with sound treatments behind the speakers? I have a large space, but can’t really have them more than 2 feet off the wall.

    I am about 1 hour away in Delaware

    Being a dipole speaker they need room to breathe. The set a friend had(not this model) the closer to the wall they got the more conjested/distorted they sounded. His were about 4-5 out into the room and 3-4 feet from side walls and sounded terrific.

    Three to five feet from the front (or back) wall is best for my 1.7is. I have had mine about 2 feet from the wall and they were still good, just not as good as they are capable of. They are not very sensitive to side wall distances. It is also better to have some open distance behind the seated location.

    Placement is critical to get the big wrap around effect acoustically in the room. Mine can be as good or better than SDA for that. The seated sweet spot is about the same, meaning it's quite small.

    I had them 6' out in my room & that was the sweet spot for me. If you can only do 2' out in your room then I would not recommend them for you. At only 2' I know you would be very disappointed. Sorry for the bad news.

    You can use acoustic treatments behind an esl type speaker to subdue or cancel the rear wave and have them closer to rear wall. I did that with Innersound Mk II's for years before replacing them with the Salk SS8's.
