HTS10 - Does the frequency knob works at LFE Input?

I have a pioneer VSX receiever with SUB PRE OUT connected to HTS10.
I cannot understand any difference by turning the frequency select knob on the Woofer. Does it supposed to work when at LFE input?

When you use the LFE input this is assumed to be a filtered signal, so the variable low pass adjustment is not used. So, no it doesn't work. If you connected to the right and left line level input then it would work.
