I'm not an electrician but bonding the ground to the neutral at the device may cause the circuit breakers to not operate properly.

Residential the neutral and ground are bonded at the panel for a low impedence path in the event of a short

You can connect them in the panel, not at the outlet/appliance.

It can cause ground loops, or energize the ground/neutral wire.

Best case, it can cause equipment damage. Worse case, a fire.

For some reason, the customer complained that all of the switches were tripping in the house when this was turned on. Some people are so smarts....I never knew switches could trip!

    Dear lawd, some people's kids...

Reminds me of the hardware bins left behind in the shop my Mom later had an antique store. One was marked "ruffin nals."

What's the issue here??? You pee and ****, hoping your aim is spot on, then turn on the valve to the water line to hose it down, which also doubles as bidet......looks like an Aggie toilet/bidet (Texas A&M). Those Aggies really know how to improvise and cut corners.....and it shows
