Whenever I have a bad day, I think of how it could be worse.

That sign puts me to mind of a particularly grumpy sign Mrs. H & I espied one chilly December day in Portland, ME whilst on a rare bird hunt. Not hunt hunt... you know what I mean!

. Is that at Deering Park. Across from USPS building ? Which is the original State Of Maine, State Capital (which is now in Augusta, Me). I go by there once in awhile. My oldest granddaughter works at Me Med & attends college near & I take her out to Becky's Diner on the waterfront. Great food

Portland is a wonderful small city. I'm 25 mins north on coast. 1/2 way between Portland - Boothbay. My avatar is Lands End Baileys Island.

no9n30dzb5cm.jpg This is Sadie. Psycho Sadie is up to camp with Rebecca & today it's raining & she loves the woods. Treeing Walker CoonHound & she loves to run. There is 1000's of acres past me deep in the woods. So it's constant work to keep her contained. She has climbed smaller trees chasing birds & nose is always working. I don't think she has ever caught anything tho :D .. Collar is for "beep" only.

She just turned 2 . You tell her to come & she does. Then walks right by you & heads into the woods. Funny as heck. She does stay near But constant control. She wants to run rabbit squirrel & probably coon like her father. Good dog. Great with people & inside.

51 years ago this weekend. I almost went. Several friends did. Glad I stayed home. The heat was brutal! Was hard to find food or drink at the event. I think it rained too.

Great dogs! Growing up had 5-8 of those in the back yard at any time. Ran them for what they are bred for, man those were fun times. I just wish I had longer legs to keep up with my father and whoever was hunting with us between my ages of 8-14. It also didn't help that I was the packer of pelts and the .22 rifle, man those things got heavy after 75 or 100 acres...😄😄

Good looking pup! Had this BlueTick who used to have the personality between a turtle and a sloth and slept 16 hours a day.
