I am "considering" using my SDA 1.2s as left and right (bi-amped) and just can't settle on a center channel. Been stereo only and this is my first dip into home theater systems. Bought a Yamaha A6A receiver to run it. Suggestions would be appreciated!

CS350ls or CS400/400i are popular centers to match vintage speaks...

Looks like I could get that maybe second hand but aren't made anymore. Would it be better to move to a modern speaker set than sticking with the 1.2s?

Any I mentioned are available on the used market for usually $100 or less. Do what you want...

Get a new matching set of HT speakers, including rear surrounds and keep the SDA's for their intended purpose, 2 channel music.

Yeah. That was what I was wrestling with. Going with new HT speakers and moving the SDAs to another room..
