His name was Skeets.
He was 13.5 years old.
Skeets was a rescue shelter dog, I never met a heart hard enough that he couldn’t open.

    Thank you all for the kind words and heart felt comments.

    This may sound stupid to non-pet owners but I wouldn't have had this any other way...
    We're so glad he didn't pass in the middle of the night while we were asleep. He died in our arms, being petted and told what a great job he did and how much he's loved.
