BNC to RCA adapter or proper cable

Now that I have a Lumin D1, I want to experiment and compare. From my understanding, the internal DAC in the D1 is no slouch, but I also have the Tri Vista 21, so I want to compare the two in my system. The Lumin D1 has a BNC digital output and I don't have a cable that has BNC, only RCA. I remember Tom having a nightmare experience using a BNC adapter, so I'm hesitant to use one. Any suggestions for where I can get a quality, low cost (under $200), digital cable with BNC on one end and RCA on the other?

Bnc 1.5m is the way.
It is better to send a piece of gear off to have a bnc connector installed, imo- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
So, based on that suggestion, should I replace the RCA connector on the Tri Vista, or have a BNC added?Enjoying the journey while never attaining the destination.

Get the proper cable and do not use an adapter. Adapters cause issues.

That said, if it is only for testing, in this case, I don't see any issue with using a cheap $7 adapter from Amazon. Just keep in mind, the sound might be altered slightly and it may or may not work.

Imo, if I wanted to rock a tri Vista dac as a daily driver I would have it sent to a tech like parts connection and have them check it out and replace the coax to a bnc.
The tri vista is a great dac but it is getting old at this point so having it sent for a general service would be money well spent- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

I have done business with this guy before, for other types of cables, and have been quite satisfied all around -
Yeah, Marvin knows good sound. I trust his ears. Only selling this because I’m not currently using a cable like this. I’ll probably regret selling it when/if my system is back to normal.

I have a Chord Quest DAC that has BNC connectors & I use a BNC/RCA adapter with no issues at all. RCA cable from Qutest using BNC adapter to pre. Works just fine.Post edited by pearsall001 on"2 Channel & 11.2 HT "Two Channel:Magnepan LRSSchiit Audio Freya S - SS preConsonance Ref 50 - Tube preParasound HALO A21+ 2 channel ampBluesound NODE 2i streameriFi NEO iDSD DAC Oppo BDP-93KEF KC62 sub Home Theater:Full blown 11.2 set up.
