    Way too many.

I enjoy 50's to early 80's rock, pop, jazz, blues & country mostly. Blues and jazz up to today. Also like some 30's-40's big bands, swing (Goodman, Dorsey...)

Jazz lyrics strike me the most, I guess.

    These two stick out.

    Jais Ian "At Seventeen"

And those of us with ravaged faces
    Lacking in the social graces
    Desperately remained at home
    Inventing lovers on the phone
Who called to say, "Come dance with me"
    And murmured vague obscenities
    It isn't all it seems
    At seventeen
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

This morning it is from Jimmy Buffett's song Volcanco released in 1979

    Now I don't know, I don't know
I don't know where I'm a-gonna go when the volcano blows
    One more now, I don't know, I don't know
I don't know where I'm a-gonna go when the volcano blows

But I don't want to land in the New York City
I don't want to land in Mexico
I don't want want to land on no Three Mile Island
I don't want to see my skin aglow
I don't want to land in Comanche sky park
    Or in Nashville, Tennessee
I don't want to land in no San Juan airport
    Or in Yukon Territory
I don't want to land in no San Diego
I don't want to land in no Buzzard's Bay

I don't want to land on no Ayatollah

I got nothing more to say

But, oh, how I lived my life for you
    Still you'd turn away
Now, as I die for you
My flesh still crawls as I breathe your name

All these years I thought I was wrong
Now I know it was you
Raise your head, raise your face
Your eyes, tell me who you think you are

    Killer, intruder, homicidal man.
If you see me coming, run as fast as you can.
A blood thirsty demon who's stalking the street.
I hack up my victims like pieces of meat.
    Blood thirsty demon, sinister fiend,
    Bludgeonous slaughters, my evil deeds.

My hammer's a cold piece of blood-lethal steel.
I grin while you writhe with the pain that I deal.
Swinging the hammer, I hack through their heads,
Deviant defilers, you're next to be dead.
I unleash my hammer with sadistic intent.
Pounding, surrounding, slamming through your head. Yeah!

Their bodies convulse, in agony, and, pain.
I mangle their faces, till no features remain.
A blade for the butchering, I cut them to shreds.
First take out the organs, then cut off the head.
The remains of flesh now sop under my feet.
One more bloody massacre, the murders' complete.
    I seek to dismember, a **** fiend.
And, blood baths are my way of getting clean.
I lurk in the alleys, wait for the kill.
I have no remorse for the blood that I spill
A merciless butcher who lives underground.
I'm out to destroy you and ,I will, cut you down.
I see you, and, I'm waiting ,for Black Friday.

I've been thinking about this since this thread appeared.
I'm not sure I have a single favorite line.
This verse from Jane Siberry's song Calling All Angels, gorgeously covered by the Wailin' Jennys, always makes me sniffle.
Oh, and every day you gaze upon the sunset
    With such love and intensity
Why it's almost as if you could only crack the code
Then you'd finally understand what this all means
Ah, but if you could, do you think you would trade it all
    All the pain and suffering?
Ah, but then you'd miss the beauty of the light upon this earth
And the -- and the sweetness of the leaving

    https://youtu.be/-zBAwz66wWY?si=ugSVT8meENresMgX
Another favorite - one that crystallizes the whole Pete Townshend/'OO/1960s Mod thing is the bridge (for lack of a better term) from the song The Punk Meets the Godfather from Quadrophenia.
I have to be careful not to preach
    I can't pretend that I can teach
And yet I've lived your futures out
By pounding stages like a clown
And on the dance floor broken glass
    And bloody faces slowly pass
The numbered seats in empty rows
It all belongs to me, you know

Beyond that... there's a million more.
