MagniFi Mini Producing Weak Sound

I've been delighted with this unit since purchasing it 5 years ago, but the other night while watching a Blu-ray disc, the sound cut out completely. I shut everything off and restarted not knowing what part of the chain had the issue. Once I got back up and running, I noted the sound coming out of the soundbar had lost much of its strength.
Whereas I was able to get very powerful volume at moderate levels before, I now need to increase the volume to maximum to approximate its previous strength and power. In the past, this level would have been deafening.
I checked to make sure it's not in night mode, and I made sure the subwoofer is paired. Everything seems to be "working", it's just not anywhere close to what it had been.
Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. Is it possible that whatever device that is providing the signal to the soundbar has changed its output level? In other words, if the soundbar is connected to the output of the TV and if the strength of that signal has reduced then the output of the soundbar will reduce as well. Every system is different, but go into the TV's setup menu and see if you can increase the audio output level. -
Thanks for your reply. I checked all the settings on the TV and it's set to output through ARC, so there's' no way to modify its output other than by raising or lowering the volume by using either the TV or the MagniFI remote controls.

It's unusual for a component to change its playing volume, not impossible but not usual. Is the sound character (not considering the volume) different? Is it possible some of the soundbar's internal speakers are not producing sound? In other words, are there high frequencies missing? Or, a lack of center channel presence? If one or more of the speaker's internal components is not working that could cause a lowering of the volume.
