Here's another Goodwill find 45 of a local band.
System 56 was a band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed by Steve Simenic in 1981-82. The group drew much of its early inspiration from artists such as Ultravox, BeBop Deluxe, Simple Minds, Gary Numan and the Cars, featuring a stripped-down type of aesthetic, which blended edgy guitar riffs against a Minimal-Synth backdrop, fueled by a driving rhythm section.

I had their LP, but sold it when it started going for silly money...

Another Goodwill find. The cover is fair at best but the vinyl is VG+

I'll just copy the comment on this LP as it sums it up nicely. 1979
"Really interesting private press hippie music from Michigan. A lot going on in these all-original tracks written by multi-instrumentalist Michael Colone. Surprisingly accomplished funky / Afro-Latin jazz-rock instrumentals alternate with rather predictable vocal tracks... but a few have an appealingly percussive Mandrill / Santana-like punch to them. Definitely worth checking out if you are into Gong, Sly & The Family Stone, Mandrill, or oddball private press 70s rock in general. The instrumentals are really great!"

Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
