That's going to suck big-time when it inflates at highway speed. SO what does it take to activate the bag I wonder?
My son hit a car T-boned at 40mph in the drivers side door. Pushed the door to the center hump in the cabin, his air bags never inflated even though his grill was now sitting in the engine bay. By the way not his fault, the other driver blew through a stop sign.
I asked the insurance adjuster why they didn't inflate, he told they never hit hard enough to activate the sensor.
