    Me, too...
Someone pointed out that they didn't all end up like that one (apparently).
Well, at least one (some) other(s) in the UK got (or is getting) rescued & rehabbed.

Leatherneck Aviation Museum is opening at the site of the last standing hangar at the old MCAS El Toro. I hope to volunteer down there when I can to help put my Hornet back together and perhaps work on the Corsair and Phantom they will have there as well.

That could be milliseconds before a major side scarring crash. Ya know...timing is everything with photography.

I wasn't. It's either right before a crash or a fake. The lack of dust or a roost behind her probably point to the later.

Switch the bone rim glasses to brass wire frames and dye the black hair blonde and this could be heiny9's very own action figure!

Does it have Kung Fu Action Grip™?

Yeah, total fake. The position of her hair, the chain and the lack of any disturbance from the rear wheel are definite clues.
