The fact that GM shuttered Pontiac and went forward with Buick is criminal.“Human beings are born with different capacities. If they are free, they are not equal. And if they are equal, they are not free.”

That, and the Camaro is no more.

Pontiac had great cars, aside from the already mentioned, The Grand Prix SJ, Catalina, Bonneville, lemans, firebirds, and for the most part everyone I ever had was built like a tank, ran forever. By the time the early seventies rolled around, and the great gas shortage, all those models worth a darn hit the bricks. A few held out to the end of the Carter regime like TA's , Judge, buick rivs , skylarks Come 80 or 81, those big block engines were getting replaced with 305's in the Firebirds and Camaros. What dogs those engines were. Muscle didn't come back until Buick took on Chevy with the Grand National GNX. Kinda felt weird with a fast car and bench seats in the front though. That made them start the war with corvettes for king of the hill status. Then Mustangs threw their hat in the ring with the GT and the race was off.HT SYSTEM-

All GNX and Grand National models were bucket/console cars and only a handful of inter cooled turbo cars had a split bench…The Gear... Oh, I didn't know that. I was watching the Barret-Jackson auction the other day and they had mentioned that. When I looked it up, it was true....but those were apparently older reports than what you found. That said, I'm sorry but Camaro's are ruined if they become electric. Kind of like what they did to the Mustang. What a joke!

As things have just recently changed for the better I doubt the all electric versions of a number of vehicles will ever see the streets.Political Correctness'.........defined

On this day...3/14/25, my wife and I were able to watch the changing of the moon from bright white to dull red.
Even after working VERY HARD all week or more, we really wanted to photograph this. Her camera didn't do squat. Mine did alright after I put my elbow on my truck window pillar to steady the camera.

We lost another squirrel today, probably to the same Hawk.
It let my wife get 8' close to it while it ate. After about an hour or more of eating, the Hawk flew up 10' and sat there for many hours. After the Hawk flew up to a branch above where it ate, I worked in my yard about 20' away from it for hours. I detached 3/4 of my front yard. I mowed 3/4 of my front yard and also vacuumed up my neighbor's leaves beside our driveway AND where some were right under the Hawk, and it stayed right there, 10' off the ground above where it had just had a meal.
Remember...we had a Hawk sit just above us on the power line while we trimmed our Crape Myrtles back. That Hawk sat for about an hour too I think. It watched me sawzall 3 trees top branch heads.
It looks to be the same Hawk.
Sorry for the gruesome pics. Mother Nature is what she is.
