If I ever carve out some time to play I really would like to upgrade the crossovers in my LSi7 and possibly the LSi15. Upgraded caps obviously take up munch more space than the originals, as do air core indictors. I'm considering the extra volume that the larger components consume. My question is, at some point is it worth while with smaller cabnet speakers, like the LSi7, to go external with the crossover?Stan

the LSi7 can easily stay internal even with air core inductors... takes up minimal real estate

Also I have started to relocate the crossover for the 15 in the upper MTM cabinet with much success! WAY*** more real estate versus the sub enclosure
