Nothing good unfortunately. Hearing is still completely gone and I’m having more and more neurological symptoms, left side of my face feels strange, almost if numb but not totally.
Seeming more and more like I have an Acousric Neuroma on the left ear nerve that is putting pressure on other nerves. I’m no doctor but at this point there’s gotta be something else going on. Nothing else I can do but wait for the MRI though.2 Channel in my home attic/bar/man cave

Nope. MRI on Tuesday. Will let everyone know what comes of it. Best case is they find nothing and I move on with my live2 Channel in my home attic/bar/man cave

Neurological symptoms? Have they checked your cervical spine or pinched nerves around C2-C3? I have such issues and it causes occasional numb-tingling up the back of my head and to my ear. I have tinitus that is getting worse. No proof that it is linked to the c-spine but my doc suspects so. I am more focused on C4-C6 pinched nerves that impact my left arm.Stan

Received my MRI results today. Thank god, all appears normal in my brain and auditory canals. No masses or otherwise concerning findings.
This is huge, doesn’t change the prognosis of my hearing coming back in my left ear, but it means there isn’t something more serious at play here. I am very relieved and feel like I can start living the rest of my life now2 Channel in my home attic/bar/man cave

Next steps for the hearing are a cochlear implant. Have another talk with the ENT on Friday. As far as the other stuff, I’m imagining a large amount of stress and anxiety caused the weird stuff. I’ve been feeling much better the past few days. The doctors told me in the beginning that that effects to the balance nerve could have a lot of weird effects
