Floor Lamp Plug Help.

Options
So our new pup got behind the couch and chewed up one end of the plug, see pics.

Honestly, I don’t know if that’s what it’s called, but looking on line for the replacement piece, I can’t seem to find it.
I can find the whole cord with the foot button to turn it on an off, but it’s missing the end piece the pup chewed up.☹️

I'd just cut out both connectors and splice/solder/heat shrink. Should be easy enough to figure polarity. It should just be relatively low voltage DC.
See profile for rigs. Nothing else here.

Biggest thing with DC is identify what is hot and neutral.

You would think the inner sleeve is hot but that is NOT always true

Sometimes, the polarity will be marked on the power adapter with a small graphic, I learned once, after the fact. Appears to be the case here. I can't quite make it out, but this is what it looks like. It's on the bottom right corner of the power adapter. Looks like center-pos.

Thought about doing this, but the replacement cord was only $5 shipped from Amazon..
