It's been while since i've been on here.. I have had this subwoofer for a long time, and just wanting to confirm its likely kicked the bucket. Its giving out an airy static noise when turned on even when not connected to receiver.. noise does get louder and softer as the volume is changed but i don't see how i would get it to stop with the airy static noise.
Main 2ch -
BlueSound Node->Ethereal optical cable->Peachtree Audio Nova 150->GoldenEar Triton 2+
TT - Pro-ject Classic SB with Sumiko Bluepoint.

TV 3.1 system -
Denon 3500 -> Dynaudio Excite 32/22

    In all likelihood the bass amplifier is defective and would need replaced or repaired. How long have you owned it?

    5-6 years at least.. got it clearanced price at Frys a few years before they kicked the bucket

    That would make it outside of the original warranty period. Do you live in Canada?
