Goes from 0 to 45 in under .5 seconds

I would opine that collaboration may be overstating Lambo's (i.e., Audi's, I guess... they own the brand) end of the deal. Looks like all they did is provide some graphics files (and the use of their name). ;)
Unless, of course, they're gonna put Technics rekkid playas in some of their vehicles. That'd be cool.

Trying to think of something positive to say about this. Hm. Perhaps in 6-10 months when nobody buys these and they're collecting dust in a warehouse they'll have a clearance on them and it'll be a good deal?

I dunno, they might be playing off the disco era and the classic Lambo poster every kid had on his closet door (next to the Farrah Fawcett one) back in the day. I like turntables and I like cars (and Farrah, too), so I kinda thought it was neat, but I definitely see youze guys’ points, also. It would get kinda crazy to look at and Drew had it right, the market has spoken. Got a pretty good chuckle out of his post!

You get a record with it!
Purchasers of the SL-1200M7B will be treated to an exclusive gift in the form of a vinyl record featuring the powerful engine and driving sounds of six different Lamborghini V12-engine super sports cars, recorded especially for this project: 400GT 2+2, Miura SV, 25th Anniversary Countach, Diablo 6.0 SE, Murciélago LP 640 and Revuelto.
    I disabled signatures.

Well that seals the deal! I've always wanted to listen to digital recordings of Lamborghini engine sounds on my analog TT through my HiFi. Finally my prayers have been answered.
