10b tweeter question

in Vintage Speakers
I'm going to look at 10b for sale 125.00. they stated the tweeter was replaced. it looks like the diaphragm were replaced. sl2000. Just looking for advice. I know replacing them with rdo 194s is an option but that's another 120.00vrcb9tf5u89j.jpeg

    Looks like they doped the silk too. If it were me, I'd forego the 194's and upgrade to 198's.

    sorry but can I get some clarification. why were they changed will it make the tweeter less harsh. by the way i own 7b and 10b with peerless tweeter. theses are going to be for my daughter. thanks

    ended up buying the 10b's they are in great condition and sound really good. really a steal for 125.00
