Yep. I’d been in my truck snagging them. But I’m in SC.

I just passed on a great set of LARGE Snell towers that were 100.00 with foam rot on the woofers. The rest looked GREAT though. I have a SNELL sub and have wanted Snell speakers for years. I even had to pass on Drew's Snell bookies he offered us. I think it was the cost of shipping on those. These Snell towers are HUGE and I feel fine not having them take up space that I fought hard to create a couple of years ago.
I have limited space again since getting my DEF. TECH BP10b's for 100.00 a couple of months back. They still bring a smile to my face when I hear them. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Lot of those Snell speakers are great. I still have a set of Elll's that I would put up against many a speaker.
-
Here are the faces of the Snells I passed on. There's a tweeter on the rear up high.

That's a later set I would think Peter Snell did not design those. Don't mean they aren't great speakers though. Who knows, I never heard a set.

My stands were different when I got my 10's in the 80's. The piece the speaker sat on was wood. Those look metal. Still I wish they were close I'd snag them. Mine were destroyed in a flood.HT/2Channel: Emotiva MMC-1, Adcom GFA-555II, Polk SDA 3.1's, Teac TN-300 TT, Polk Center and Sub.

Hard pass… the side by side tweeters in those are not desirable. For that price, wait on a set of SDA 1c’sThe Gear... They do look nice however I would not pay 400.00 for them when SDA 2b's and probably SDA-SRS2's (if you look hard) for that money. Just my thoughts.
