psw250 connections

Hi
just recently bought a denon reciever, and have a psw 250 sub, cant seem to figure out how to hook it up. Any help would be appreciated thanks

    Welcome to Polk's forum, the PSW250 is a classic. Is the Denon receiver an older unit or a newer one? Can you give us the receiver's model number?

    Hello finnyb,
    In looking at the receiver's owner's manual there is a subwoofer connection on the rear panel in the lower left hand corner. You would need a single RCA cable to go from this connection to either the right or left line level input on the sub (either one is fine). I can't remember if the PSW250 has a variable low pass filter or not, if it does rotate this control to the maximum setting. You may need to go into the receiver's setup menu and turn the sub-out function on. That should do it.

    Thanks Ken. It worked! I had it hooked up but the was no sound from the sub. Went to settings on the reciever and changed the sub setting. Working fine now. Thanks again for your help!
