Got the toroidal on the work bench for measurements. It comes with a powder-coated steel top-plate and a steel thru bolt. I will have to machine a custom alloy centering spud to mount it. There will be no ferrous metals in this case. Good news I'll only have to machine out it's billet housing by @ 0.100 to clear the factory out-of-round windings, but mainly the output wires do make it's major OD 6.7" at that location....

I would give at least a half-inch all the way around for wire clearance. The sharp bend angle would give me some concerns.The Gear... The wires exit the toroid upwards.Taking off too much wall may ruin one of the design goals for the case to be RFI proof.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

My $23 JB inflationary 316S allen head bolt arrived...and its tech drawing was wrong. Was not a true 5" long flat head but 4.75". Adjusting accordingly.

Would you be willing to satisfy a curiosity of mine by measuring the DC resistance of the primary and secondary windings of your transformer?

A flat head bolt will measure from end to end, so the bolt you received is actually 5” their print is wrong.
That is how you measure say a hex head bolt or button head bolt.

It's an Ebay re-seller I'm sure. Ace Hardware doesn't even carry these. It's funny because you can't assume anything to ASTM specs any more. I've actually received UNC bolts with 90 deg tapers before.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

Thank you! If you could measure from the blue/violet pair to the grey/brown pair of wires. And then from the black/orange pair to the red/yellow pair of wires.
