I ordered the compendium from DarqueKnight and just wanted to compliment him / her for a job well done. It was a great read and it is a wonderful resource for taking care of our SDA's. Great packaging and shipping too. Thanks again DarqueKnight.

Raife's handling of that guy was comical.

Sorta like a cat that bats a mouse around between it's paws as an amusement toy.

Ya'll have the best of me. I am sure there is a story behind Raife and Special K. I didn't mean to stir anything up I just wanted to give a shout out where it was deserved.

Raife's a him. I would bet that Raife has probably dedicated 2,000+ hrs to SDA tweaking and research. Only person who might know more about them would be Senior Polk himself.
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

Thanks JD, I just did a thread search and found out what the fuss with special K is about.
Since I am a rookie around here I'll read more than comment for awhile. I do however suspect that there is some knowledge base difference between them, with the edge going to....

I need another. I wore mine out!
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

    Hello all,
I am a newbie that has just dug out a set of 1.2’s and 1.2tl’s from the closet after twenty five years of storage. I am in search of the 2nd Edition of the Compendium? How might I buy a copy?

I’m hoping that one of these sets is still in good order. I’m also refurbing my Adcom 565’s to run again. Haven’t heard them in over 25 years. Want to retire and sit in my chair and listen to old vinyl until a die.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Andy

Someone did. It didn't take any time finding it from Google. Then I found I already had stashed it away from back in 2020.

I did. I first asked Polk to put it on their website. After they declined, I asked @VR3 to put it on his website.
