I have no doubt I can get some constructive input. The 5a’s I recently picked up were missing the badges on the grills. I sources a pair that came with no clips. I am open to suggestions for securing them to the grills or sourcing new clips. Thanks in advance for the suggestions and advice!

Glue is easily an option but I would prefer something that would allow removing it if I need to redo the fabric at any point. I have read some good stuff about that Aleenes.

the part you want is often called a "spring nut" -- you'll have to determine the correct size based on the size of the post

Or maybe he just needs the clips? Those should be easy to find.

I just took this photo of a few spares. You can just cut a small piece of sheet metal and drill a hole in it. You might have to cut a little. That's what they basically came with. Any Ace Hardware should have these in a drawer by the nuts and fasteners. F1Nut and Astrl55 have it correct a "push retainer" or "flat spring nut". -

Thx guys! I will run to the hardware store tomorrow armed with good info. The push retainer/flat spring nut is exactly what I am hunting.

I can double check in a bit but the hardware store had what they referred to as speed nuts or speed something… I will recheck the receipt in a bit. Anyway, they are an exact match to the clips @aprazer402 shows in the pics. The hole was a touch large but a pinch with some pliers closed the gap a bit and made for a tight fit.
