Saw this the other day. Sad Bummer.

I remember the first time I heard her music, seeing her in the video for What's Love Got To Do With It? one summer before 5th or 6th grade. Instant crush, prob before I even knew what that was. Beautiful, and sheesh, those legs!

What a dynamic voice. I liked a lot of her music when it came out. Such an active, energetic, and animated performer. And, man, that winsome, infectious smile and laugh... I mean, you couldn't help smiling yourself seeing her doing it. She just always looked like she was having a great time.

I'd have beat up Ike for her.

Gonna bust out my old Betamax and watch Mad Max, Beyond Thunderdome. She was a Superstar, no doubt about it. Thanks for entertaining us through the years and leaving an impressive body of music. People will be enjoying Tina Turner's work for years to come.

    RIP, Ms. Turner

Here's a photo of Ms. Turner posing on the Eiffel Tower, in high heels, in 1989.
