    Back in the 60's when there wasn't much going on, the US Navy thought "Hey, I wonder if we could land a C-130 Hercules on a carrier."
    BTW Those planes don't have tail hooks to grab 1 of the arresting cables used to stop the planes 🤔

    Come to think of it, the C-130 Hercules doesn't have the nose assembly to grab on to the steam catapult used for launching planes so....well...
    ....Mr Hercules you're on your own I guess 🙏
