My f***ing god. I just wasted 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back and I'm so upset about it, I feel Hollywood owes me my money back times two. There's so many things I could say about it but refuse to because I'm still shocked this THING was ever put to film. How did Travolta look at it and say "Yeah, this should be good enough for me to be in." Wow...

Two only good things about the movie. The Rock (who's ****) and Andre (who's preppy and prissy for a thug). That's it.

Please PLEASE save yourself the time and money. It's brutal!!! And yes, I'm a HUGE fan of Get Shorty so don't think I just hate the concept.

two stars our of four stars is what the critics gave it. so according to that.. it's a so so movie. thanks for the warning. I wasn't about to go see it anyways. I only see a movie or two a month. and I'm REAL picky about what movie i spend my $$ on.

Did you check out Million Dollar Baby? it's a GOOD movie. scratch that. it's a GREAT movie.

Even before this movie came out, I knew it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as Get Shorty. That was just such a great picture, and it almost never works twice. Plus, a movie making fun of movies just has a better concept than a movie making fun of music.
Too bad it couldn't have been a decent movie in its own right, tho, not being compared the first one.

That sucks. Man I loved Get Shorty. One of the alltime greats.

I kinda had my doubts when the entire thing seems to be hip-hop. Im so FREAKING SICK OF HIP HOP!!! Not to mention Im even sicker of rappers and singers acting in movies!

Ill wait til it comes out for $.99 rental.

yeah that chick was cute but she's no different than any other female singer out right now. She doesn't really have something that makes me say "WOW!" Andre was fricken hilarious though... I'll give him credit. I'd say it's almost worth a buck to rent but I'd still force a friend to spend it and not waste it yourself. But the time alone wasted on watching is enough to make you upset.

I think you are all being to hard on it....I thought it had its moments.............Vince Vaughn is friggin funny as hell, at least I thought so, kinda reminds me of the character that Jamie Kennedy plays in Malibu's Most Wanted. Vaughn does it much better.....It is no way a "classic" but it is worth a rental....better yet, Netflix it and add it to your Q.....

Can't say I actually liked Mal. Most Wanted, certainly wouldn't be recommending it to anyone, but I found it entertaining in some parts......I can find most movies at least watchable once. except Eye of the Beholder, (see worst movies), I can't say it, (Be Cool) is a movie I would find myself watching again.....def. not buying, but I take it for what it is.

I enjoyed it. Many inside industry jokes, good timing, interesting characters. No, it wasn't as good as Get Short, but that didn't do justice to Elmore Leonard either. It was entertaining for a rental. I got some chuckles. Liked Chili Palmer, loved Uma and the Rock was special.
