SDA-2A, Has anyone tried to remove the toe-kick/ courtesy panel?

I pulled two wood screws located on the inside of the cabinet.
Appears to be attached with adhesive also...
Tried driving a putty knife into the seam...
Very little movement...
Anyone get this piece off without a bunch of damage?
I want to apply new laminate to the cabinets, and am pleased to replace that piece.
Just need to remove it.

Two ideas:
Table saw with speaker cabinet vertical. I will not be able to achieve full depth, but will decrease the amount of surface area by half. The saw kerf will make a larger area to work within. Maybe a wedge to pop the adhesive?
Radial arm saw with a dado blade. Set the depth to be slightly above the cabinet. Turn the part into sawdust... Yes, height may be an issue. May be necessary to turn the saw column 180 degrees, and work on a second bench. -

IF -- IF, I was determined to remove that piece, I would employ a router sled* before I would take my life in my hands with the combination of a dado setup on a radial arm saw.
I speak from experience in two areas of my previous life -- woodworker & attorney.

Yes. Router and a straightedge clamped to the cabinet. I'd make the straightedge out of some material the same thickness as the toe plate with an added fence of material secured to that. Run the router on your straightedge to make the first cut in the straightedge base. Make one pass at a time and keep moving the straightedge down until you get the whole panel. I think the size of cabinet is too large to use a router table or a table saw w/ dado blade but that could work too with the proper supports and a long enough fence.George / NJ

There could be wooden dowel pins that were used as well when put together..
