    I always wished I could communicate like him. :D

    He was unique like Rodney Dangerfield. They could speak a couple of words and you'd know who they were.

    I liked Gilbert's outlook on things a lot.

    I agree 100% about his voice being RASPY as the reviews stated. His voice took me to the edge of :s but it was strangely listenable like Tiny Tims was. For a period of time, not all day kind of bearable.

    He was one of those comedians who had to go into 'character' in order to try and be funny. I never really 'got it', but in that genre, he was one of the best. RIP
