I’m so afraid of what these are going to cost. I’m also still foolishly hoping they’ll do a box set of all the albums.

But those are signed and for VIP at the shows for the rest of the tour, but yes stupid price nonetheless…

So maybe $100-150 without the autographs? I can't wait to find out their autograph markup. They know there's people that will spend it. Definitely not me. $800 is a lot, way too much.

I already got MJKs signature anyway and it was a reasonable $40 😂

I bet it will be around $250 sans autographs. Not quite the highest I've seen for a mega deluxe album and not surprising at all coming from tool.

That's insane. Don't forget to the lead up cost just for the opportunity.
$50/year for Tool Army, to gain access to presale and VIP ticket options.
I think VIP Tickets were $650 on the Fear Inoculum Tour.
And now $800 for the signed vinyl.

So the "street price" to acquire these would be a minimum of $1,500. Granted you would have seen a Tool concert with prime seats and participated in a band meet and greet with some other swag. But all in, you need to drop a total of $1,500(ish) to even have the option. That's flat out insane.

I wouldn't be shocked if at least one person tries to sell the vinyl + all the VIP swag as a complete package for more than that. And unfortunately, I'm sure someone will buy it.

I don't think they've released numbers. They're all over eBay though for way too much money.

My early guesses were pretty close.
I’m debating if $180 is too rich for my blood. They did that Laturalus that was flashy, and it doesn’t sound great. But I still have it, so maybe I do need this, lol.

Lateralus was a picture disc though. Mine sounds like trash too. This is one side plain black vinyl with music opposite side etched with no music.

Don't hesitate too long if you're going to get it, they'll probably sell out & be scalped on eBay.

I’m wondering if this one will sell out, but be followed by a less elaborate (but equally or more playable) release. I got the early CD with the video. It was cool, but I really would have been happy with just the book version that came out later.

The only band that can get me to buy the CD with the video, the book variant, the digital release, and now the vinyl. It’s disgusting really.. LOL..

We (Tool fans) got a $180 box set up to the 6th best selling item on all of Acoustic Sounds, let's gooooo!

Edit: Fear Inoculum Vinyl Set & Opiate 2 Bluray #1 and #2 on Amazon physical media best seller list

They must have made a lot of them if they're not selling out by now.

Is it a coincidence that at 4:20 is when the rad drum solo in Opiate starts?

I haven't done any acid or mushrooms today otherwise the artwork in the Opiate2 book might make sense.
