Thanks for weighing in without much info! He sent a pic of the back of one tower. There’s an RT at the beginnings of the serial number. Does this help?
BTW this would be for fronts for home theater in a man cave that’s just in the dream stage so far. -

This has all been very helpful! I had no idea Polk made any speaker with a built in amp. I’ve had good luck with with older speakers but not with older subwoofers. The amps fail! I appreciate the good advice.
