Have a two TV setup for football. What are the functions of the “monitor 2” HDMI video output?
I’d like to have TV1 on Cable & TV2 on my Apple TV. Is that feasible?
So far all I can get is both TVs to mirror each other.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Based on what I remember and have read it's only a mirror of what the video source in main is playing. You have control over the resolution but if both are selected the lower common resolution is selected for both. If you have a 1080p projector and a 4k TV when the setup is both you'll get 1080p on them./

I don't have a 5011, but I do have a 7011. The receiver I have can display a separate video input from Zone 2 or Zone 3 than what's selected for Zone 1 (aka the Main Zone). This is how Marantz explains it:

The 7011 has a Zone 2 video output that the 5011 doesn't.

The 5011 zones are audio only and the two 7011 Main HDMI outputs work the same way as the 5011.
