Psw 505 hooked to a denon s650h

I have a green light on back and the AV settings the SW if yes, but I get no sound at all. I have a basic RCA cable I tired one with a 3.55 but get horrendous hum.

    Well, at least the hum shows that the subwoofer is working. Sometimes the receiver will only send a signal to the sub out is when decoding a 5.1 source. If you have a DVD player can you play a recent Dolby 5.1 disc?
    There should be a set up procedure with a microphone?

    I did the mic setup I heard the sub, but still nothing any help would be welcome.

    It would be helpful if you could describe what it is you're listening to. Is it a DVD, CD or download? Tell us more about the circumstances.

    If the front speakers are set to large in the Denon speaker settings, change the Bass to LFE + main.
