Cleaning your 20 yr. old equipment's terminals with CAIG Deoxit makes almost as much difference:rolleyes: Not sure why I overlooked this, but about 15 minutes tonight with the Deoxit and some pipe cleaners and Q-tips made one heck of an improvement. Let the new Signal Cable speaker cables live up to their full potential. Just an FYI if you haven't cleaned your terminals in a while.

Did you just crawl out of a coffin? ;)

    CAIG is great stuff.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I don't keep my gear long enough to build up such grime but good info for those who do.

Also turning your interconnects on the female rca jacks can help as well. Once a year.

Doro - I'm not sure why this didn't occur to me! I use the CAIG for a lot of stuff, mostly cleaning the electrical connectors on my trailers and farm equipment. For some reason the light-bulb just went on with regard to this.

DKG - I'm just messing with you, yaman, it's nice stuff. I posted a discount code for CAIG somewhere in here....hmmm, I think I need to spray some CAIG in my brain.
