LS50 bi-amp Upgrade

Hello, I am doing a bi-amp upgrade to my LS50 speakers, wondered if I should replace the existing crossover circuit. I was planning to drive the lower speaker as a woofer from the main amplifier, and drive the second 6.5" speaker (as a mid-range) with the tweeter with the second amplifier. Any thoughts on crossover frequencies for the LS50 cabinet?

    For starters your speakers only have one set of binding posts. Proper bi-amping is a very deep hole, one that you don't want to go down.

    So you swapped in crossovers from LS70's into your LS50's? Uhh, yeah, that's not the proper way to get bi-amp capabilities(Not to mention it's pointless on those speakers).

    What would really seal the deal on this experiment is to tell use you are going to bi-amp using a receiver.
