Welp...

Not sure who did this. My kids know better, so either it was friends kids we’ve had over a few times recently, or the new kitten, but the one is a tower speaker so I don’t think the kitten could reach it.

Regardless, does Polk still sell tweeters for LS90’s? And is the C350 the exact same tweeter??

Thanks in advance for guidance..

Polk doesn't offer a tri lam tweeter anymore, they offered a silk replacement which was not as good.

Would keep an eye on ebay
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

    Thank you sir.

Any recommendations for a quick fix for the time being? Super glue or tape or something?

It’s the center and one tower.

Oh man. Can that happen from blasting? I've never seen anything like that before. Terrible.

How much difference might damage like that typically make?

Watching a football game right now and I switched to all-zone stereo. As I checked out each tweeter, I couldn’t tell the difference between the two damaged ones and the one good one. Not saying I’m just going to leave them, but I don’t use this system for critical listening.

I started reading this about another's similar experience, curious as to what kind of difference one might hear.

    https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/repairing-a-punctured-aluminum-dome-tweeter.823693/

I might be more curious than you to know how that happened.

Maybe I’ll switch the one good tower to the center.

I'm not saying the difference is equivalent but Polk put holes in Peerless on purpose. For a non critical setup how bad could it be?

Football game sounded fine today. I’ll test it with a movie at some point.
