DSW 660wi dead?

Options
I've had a DSW660 for several years with no issues. Recently it seems to have died. The LED on the back doesn't light at all. The fuse seems ok. I replaced the batteries in the remote. No luck. Should the buttons on the remote light up when pressed? Should the LED in the back of the sub light even when the sub is off?

Plate amp failure. Try contacting Polk to see if they have any to sell.

That sounds spendy. Maybe better to just buy a new sub.

Is it possible to run these passively with an external amp?
