Joey why are you running Canare XLRs out of the DAC to the pre, and from the pre to the amp instead of AQ WELs?!

So, project from last night was to try the Cardas XLR into the amp instead of stock.
Stock = just the facts, ma’am. I noted harshness around the vocalists, a more etched sound.
Cardas = warmer, more even tone in general including bass at a more even level relative to highs. Hash removed, more natural imaging.
I switched back and forth probably 10 times before I said, I’m not turning the boulder on and off for a bit for the sake of the component.... listened to Cardas and kept it on for the rest of the night.
A worthwhile upgrade.
