Some new guy showing what he's learned on "Won't Get Fooled Again", isolated bass.
Takes about a minute to get going but he may have potential.

Fans continue to flock to Winslow, Arizona due to iconic line in Eagles song
(Link within article to play video to view what's there)

A second video with more stuff.

I have always wanted to go to Winslow Arizona since the 70's to see what is there. Little did I know quite a few people visit the corner and the flat-bed Ford that is part of Standing on the Corner Park. The article says 8000 people per day, but that number sounds excessive.

And okay, sure, your Tesla Scooterbug 3000 may have quicker 0-60 time but
remember it's not the destination it's the journey.
Besides, your mom's Quisinart technically has a quicker 0-60 time. 😇

Got this from another forum which explains it well.

"Back in the day, automotive engines were mass-produced by hand and assembled mostly by hand…Some of them could be pretty ratty. Enthusiasts of high-performance cars would tear down their engines and “blueprint” them…Build them to very carefully controlled tolerances of fit, timing and balance in hopes of gaining improved reliability, performance and engine life."

One of the reasons my 68 Z/28 ran so well was it had a near perfect line bore which was very rare in those days due to the above. When the block was blueprinted the line bore was left alone as they couldn't improve it.

This song came to mind the other day.
Sammy Hagar at the Winterland in San Francisco 1978
Saw him in 1973 at the Winterland when he was with Montrose.
    Kicked arse then too.

Sammy Hagar was definitely on to something with that song as @mrbigbluelight said in the other thread.

I like that video. I am reminded of the first time I visited San Francisco in 1976 (major drought 1976-77). It was the beginning of water rationing because of the droughts and heat. No water glasses in restaurants unless you asked; no one on east coast could fathom concept.

Quote from SFGate "California drought: Water officials look to rules of '70s" (2014):
"That year, 1977, was one of the driest in California history, a drought that inspired a water conservation movement, along with low-flow toilets and showerheads, water-saving washing machines and dishwashers, drip irrigation and recycled water."

My concert moment in San Francisco in 1976
My wife and I were walking in the city late on a Sunday morning, and there was a small handbill taped to light post announcing a Jimmy Buffett concert on Sunday night at auditorium on Berkley campus. We loved his music in the early 70s (still do), and we decided to go to Berkley for our first concert of his.

One song that I remember vividly from that night:
Defying Gravity - Jimmy Buffett (by way of Jesse Winchester)
    • I live on a big round ball
    • I never do dream I may fall
    • And even one day if I do
    • Well I'll jump up and smile back at you

The thread mentioning Diana Rigg made me think of another beautiful, classy woman, Judith Durham. 💗
I should mention a talent with the voice of an angel IMO
I was 13 when she joined The Seekers and they recorded this song
