Polk audio rm6750 sub

Hi all, I have a Polk audio rm6750 sub from my rm 7 set which is only a few years old. I went to use it today after not using in a couple months and it did not work. I hooked my old psw150 to my amp on this surround sound (I have two surround systems) and it worked like a champ mind you that one is 20 years old and I have not used that one in almost a year. I pulled the woofer out of the rm6750 and multimeter was reading 0 ohms. So that means the woofer is bad right?
