New cables question.

So, I received my replacement power cables today for my new PB16’s. SVS sent 6’ cables, I really needed 8’ cables. Anyway, just like many cables you order now a days, they come either rolled to tight and tied or in my case folded and tied. What is the best method or your method to straighten them out? Is it just best to let them straighten themselves out or do any of you guys have a better method. My OCD has kicked in and these new power cords looking like a snake going from my wall plate to the subs is driving me nuts, lol! Really dumb question but figured I’d ask anyways! Thanks!

    Set them out in the sun for a few hours, once warmed up they should straighten pretty good. Or keep them warm and mold them best you can to ease the OCD

    Warm them as stated above and put them under some small tension for a day or two? Maybe between a bench vice and a workmate or the like, with foam cushioning of course.

    You might also periodically hit them with a blow dryer while they are under the tension^^^

    Just so you guys know, let Mother Nature and this 99 degree day take care of the power cords today. Hung them from the deck and just let them hang out all day, straight as can be now!
