I have been listening to the stereo since 6 PM, and Rugrat has been sleeping/resting on the chair arm the whole time. I would think he would be tired of being in one position for so long, but apparently not. I would have fallen off after 10 minutes. :)

    LOL!
He's just waiting for you to use your keyboard so he can sit on that.

My Siamese used to wedge himself between me and the back of my desk chair, then slowly stretch out. Pretty soon i'd only be sitting on about 3 inches of chair.

Three hours later, he is still there. I am ready to nudge him off as I would like to use that chair arm, but won’t. Let him set an arm laying record. :)

Finally, at 9:35, after three and a half, hours he got up to go to the food bowel. I guess doing nothing works up an appetite.

Gentile giant (thankfully). For all that size, he's only 12.7 lbs. but at only 1 year, he still has another 2 years of growth to go. I expect at least 22 lbs when finished.

Our one cat Harley liked to wait for us to return from food shopping .
He'd saunter to the hallway between the front door and kitchen and SPRAWL out making it almost impossible to pass.
    Wouldn't move for anything
I think he did it just to be an a-hole

    best.

    ever.

Our late, lamented hetereo-life-partner pair, Timmy (the tabby) & Zappa, spent much of their lives training for the US Olympic Precision Sleeping Team, but the call never came.

Anyone who has a cat or cats and owns/loves polks is aces with me.
I have 16, yes that’s right and they were all once homeless. I guess the cat’s out of the bag on that one.
I have 8 sda’s and 16 Polks total, and all are in active use. They were all once homeless also.
    My house is very lively!

For you guys who have and love cats, get them some of these treats.

There is nothing in them bad for your cats - just freeze-dried chicken. Every cat I have given them to loves them. The treats at the grocery store have lots of "garbage" in them.

Thanks guys. Treats don’t last long around my house and I have a couple finicky cats they don’t like fish. I’ll try these. Your right the store bought treats do have a lot unnecessary garbage in them and have a strange taste to them. Don’t ask me how I know that!

    Are some cats naturally shy?
Today, I was in two different homes.
At the first house they had three cats, a long haired black and white one and two short-hair grey tabbies. All three of them followed me all around the house and basement.
The next home they had a beautiful German Shepard Dog and one cat. I had to ask about the cat. The owner said the cat usually hides.
Is it because of the dog or are some cats just more nocturnal or do they just go and hide?
I've always owned dogs. Have not had a pet since 1996, possibly considering a cat down the road. The grey tabby cats today were really cool looking. Would not want a super docile cat. Back in the 70's a cousin had two Siamese cats, very active and vocal!

Sone cats are naturally curious others are petrified of every one except the family members. The dog and cat prolly roughhouse when just the family is home.
