No offense Carl, but you look like you've been in a pretty good Bar Fight :D

You know Mike, I thought the same thing. It looks like I took a good right punch to the jaw. I am a crusty looking old geezer. Looks like a mug shot!

I jest Carl, from what you've been through, I'd say you look pretty good. (from one crusty ole geezer to another)

    An update from Douglas:

"Not much change in Ed’s condition he is still on ventilator doctors want to perform a tracheotomy due to being on ventilator for a long period. very little progress made this week. Thank you all for the support and please continue to pray for Ed"

If he can breathe on his own why not get him off the vent and up and moving. I've heard many folks say who've had covid that they stagnated on the vent until they were removed and forced to use their lungs and move. One guy said he hated that they made him get up and move as it hurt to breathe so bad but was very very glad they had made him as it helped tremendously.
I'm not a doctor but it seems NY NY has ulterior motives to keep folks on the vent as so many physicians elsewhere have said it does more damage than helps unless there's a total break down and the patient needs the help to actually breathe.

Come on Ed you can do this brother

    Any update today???

From the Go Fund Me page today,
    Good afternoon
I just talked to the nurse she told me that Edward is calm. They stopped the blood pressure medication he doesn't need it anymore and he is only on versed to keep him sedated. they took away the other sedation medication. he was a little anxious and that's why he was left him with versed. The test for COVID 19 on the 28th was negative and that another test will be done today. that they would be giving dialysis today and that they would start giving him food through the feeding tube He is not awake yet. Let us continue to pray for the recovery of our beloved Edward Savinon and thanks to God for keeping him with us

Looks like he's getting better, thank God.

    Fantastic News!!!!! Thanks Jesse!!!!

Everyday I come on the Polk forum I am thinking "please no bad news please no bad news", I would hate for us to have that mark in this forum from Covid 19..
